Carbon offsetting through Tree Twinning
Tree Appeal plants one tree in the UK and its ‘twin’ in Uganda, through their partner EcoTrust. The half-tonne of CO2 that this sequesters is certificated by Plan Vivo.
Tree Appeal plants trees in the UK to promote biodiversity, create habitats and improve the environment for people.

In addition to making the carbon neutral claim with the Carbon Woods branding there is the additional benefit of the environmental and CSR claim made through Tree Appeal’s Tree Twinning initiative.

Who is Tree Appeal?
Tree Appeal plants trees throughout the UK to promote biodiversity, create habitats and improve the environment for people.
Through Tree Appeal’s Trees for Schools initiative, many of these trees are planted in the grounds of schools, usually by the children themselves. This helps create woodland habitat, increases biodiversity and, most importantly, provides an excellent learning resource - planting the trees, watching them grow, seeing how wildlife is encouraged, charting the changing seasons and weather.
